Pillow Weather (Ambient Folk)

[Intro] (soft rain on the window, felt piano) [Verse 1] Rain is tapping on the glass Every busy hour has passed Grey clouds wrap the town in wool The day was long, the cup was full [Pre-Chorus] Let the weather do the talking Let your feet be done with walking [Chorus] It's pillow weather, pillow weather Soft and heavy like a feather Pull the blanket to your chin Let the quiet settle in Nothing out there needs you now Just the rain and the low cloud [Verse 2] Puddles shining on the street Warm socks on your tired feet The kettle's cooling on the side There's nowhere else you need to hide [Pre-Chorus] Let the weather do the talking Let your feet be done with walking [Chorus] It's pillow weather, pillow weather Soft and heavy like a feather Pull the blanket to your chin Let the quiet settle in Nothing out there needs you now Just the rain and the low cloud [Bridge] Drip and drop, a gentle beat Slowing down the rush and heat Breathing slower, breathing deep Rain is singing you to sleep [Final Chorus] It's pillow weather, pillow weather Soft and heavy like a feather Pull the blanket to your chin Let the quiet settle in Nothing out there needs you now Just the rain and the low cloud [Outro] Pillow weather... soft and slow Pillow weather... let it go
