opencare.help is a free directory of community help services. You can search and read it without an account, and we don't ask for your personal details to use it.

What we collect

• Feedback and reports. If you use the Feedback button or report a listing, we keep your message, the page it was sent from, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to stop spam. Your email is collected only if you choose to give it, so we can reply.
• Organisation accounts. People who manage an organisation's listing give a name, email, password, suburb and state, plus the organisation's public details (name, ABN, phone, email, website). Their name and email are not shown publicly.
• Page view counts. We count how many times listings are viewed. These counts are not linked to you.
• Technical data. Our hosting and Cloudflare (which protects the site) handle standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks.

What we don't do

• We don't take volunteer sign-ups, messages to organisations, reviews or member profiles. You contact organisations directly by their own phone, email or website, and what you share with them is covered by their privacy policy.
• We don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To run the directory, reply to feedback, fix problems, manage organisation listings and keep the site safe.

Access, correction and deletion

Use the Feedback button on any page to ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to close an organisation account.
